Tea + Series Pairing – Rooibos

The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series – The Kalahari Typing School for Men (Book 4)

Note: I received the tea free in partnership with TeaSquared in exchange for an honest review.

“Why don’t you sit down, Mma?” went on Mma Ramotswe. “Then we can drink our tea together and you can tell me if you are happy.”

Whenever I’m in the mood for something light but witty, I turn to the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series and walk back into the lives of characters I’ve come to know, like Mma Ramotswe. I admire her for her innermost strength, but also because she’s kind with a strong desire to help people who’ve been wronged. The first few books in the series highlighted her success in solving mysteries and in the last book I was confident I’d be hearing wedding bells for this most deserving lady, who found a good and honest man in Mr. J.L.B. Matekoni. When he falls sick (and adopts some children) I knew Mma Ramotswe wouldn’t abandoned him. But when are they getting married? I’ll have to see if the next book will satisfy my curiosity.

With her good nature and insight in human behavior, Mma Ramotswe helps everyone who crossed her path, even her beloved assistant Mma Makutsi, who’s helped the garage owned by Mr. J.L.B. Matekoni run successfully in his absence, but has also come up with an idea to teach a typing school after hours for me to generate some revenue. Will kind hearted Mma Makutsi find love before the end of this book?

Why not join us for a cup of bush tea (aka rooibos) and see what happens in The Kalahari Typing School for Men, book 4 of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series? I’ve paired this book (series) with a lovely and relaxing rooibos blend called Snoozer from the Detox line by TeaSquared (all opinions are my own). The blueberry and black currant play nicely and I’m sure contribute to the relaxing properties of the lavender and rose (flavors that on their own can be too dominant for some tea drinkers). This has easily become one of my favorite nighttime teas with some reading at the end of a long day!

Genre: Cozy, comical mystery, witty series + Tea: Snoozer Rooibos (herbal tea blend)
